This Cancellation Policy applies to all listing subscriptions and free trial offers for The Kollective Black Owned Business Directory, operated by Unity Over Division. Please read this policy carefully before starting a free trial or purchasing a listing.

1. Free Trial Period
Unity Over Division offers a 30-day free trial for paid directory listing tiers (Basic, Featured, and Premium) in The Kollective Black Owned Business Directory. Your free trial begins on the date your listing is approved and activated. During the trial period, you have full access to all features included in your chosen tier at no charge. No credit card is required to start your free trial. You will only be charged if you choose to continue your listing after the trial period ends.
2. How to Cancel During Your Free Trial
To cancel your listing before your 30-day trial ends and avoid any charges, simply send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Cancel My Trial" and include: • Your full name • Your business name • The email address used to register We will confirm your cancellation within 2 business days. Once confirmed, your listing will be deactivated and you will not be charged. Cancellation requests must be received before the end of your 30-day trial period to qualify for no charge.
3. After Your Free Trial Ends
If you do not cancel before your 30-day trial period ends, your listing will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the rate for your chosen tier: • Basic Listing: $25 one-time fee • Featured Listing: $75 per year • Premium Listing: $150 per year You will receive a reminder email 7 days before your trial ends and again 24 hours before the trial expires. Payment will be processed via Stripe using the payment method on file.
4. Cancellation of Paid Subscriptions
If you have already been charged for a listing subscription, you may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Upon cancellation of a paid subscription: • Your listing will remain active through the end of your current billing period • No further charges will be made after cancellation • Partial refunds are not provided for unused time within a billing period Annual subscriptions (Featured and Premium) may be eligible for a prorated refund if cancelled within 14 days of the renewal charge. Requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.
5. Refund Policy
Unity Over Division processes all payments through Stripe, Inc. Our refund policy is as follows: Free Trial Cancellations: No charge is made if cancelled before the trial ends. No refund is needed. One-Time Fees (Basic Listing — $25): Non-refundable after the listing has been activated and published in the directory. Annual Subscriptions (Featured — $75/year, Premium — $150/year): • Refund requests submitted within 14 days of initial payment or annual renewal will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis • Refunds are not provided for cancellations made after 14 days of the charge • If Unity Over Division discontinues the directory service, a prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of any annual subscription To request a refund, email [email protected] with your name, business name, transaction date, and reason for the request.
6. Community Listing (Free Tier)
The Community Listing tier is always free and does not require a trial period or payment. There is nothing to cancel. Your free listing may be removed at any time by emailing [email protected] with your business name and the request to remove your listing.
7. Changes to This Policy
Unity Over Division reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of directory listing services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].
Important Reminder
To cancel your free trial and avoid charges, your cancellation request must be received before the end of your 30-day trial period. We recommend cancelling at least 2 business days before the trial ends to allow time for processing.
