4. Donations and Payments
All donations and payments made through the Site are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. Donations to Unity Over Division are made voluntarily and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the transaction. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis. Unity Over Division is a nonprofit organization. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contributions.
5. Free Trial & Directory Listing Subscriptions
Unity Over Division offers a 30-day free trial for paid listing tiers in The Kollective Black Owned Business Directory. By starting a free trial, you agree to the following: • No credit card is required to begin your free trial. • Your trial begins on the date your listing is approved and activated. • If you do not cancel before the end of your 30-day trial period, your listing will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the rate for your chosen tier. • You will receive reminder emails 7 days and 24 hours before your trial expires. • To cancel your trial and avoid charges, email [email protected] before the trial period ends. 6. Vendor and Sponsor Applications
Submission of a vendor or sponsor application does not guarantee acceptance. Unity Over Division reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. Payments made for vendor booth fees or sponsorship packages are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Unity Over Division. Accepted vendors and sponsors are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations and must adhere to the conduct standards set forth by Unity Over Division at each event.
6. Volunteer Participation
Volunteers participate in Unity Over Division activities at their own risk. By submitting a volunteer application, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and agree to follow all guidelines and instructions provided by Unity Over Division staff. Unity Over Division reserves the right to decline or remove any volunteer whose conduct is inconsistent with our mission and values.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. Unity Over Division does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party sites you visit.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unity Over Division and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or participation in our programs, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Unity Over Division and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
